Query Failure means GameCreate could not externally query your game server.
Does the server show up in the server list when you start it via GameCreate?
Try turning off query Checks on the Hosts Configuration tab. |

There's been some sort of major problem since
around 3 am CET last night (11h30min ago): All
our css-servers keep restarting. Eventually GC gave
up on them. During the couple of minutes that the
servers seem to be up and running (confirmed with
ps and netstat), HLSW was unable to connect.
I tried to start one server manually, and it worked
perfectly. HLSW connects fine.
Did you perhaps do something with your
monitoring routines? |

Further investigation indicates that even though
netstat indicates the proper ports as in use, they
are indeed not. I am unable to query with hlsw and
qstat, and gc is also unable to query.
This applies to our root domain as well as two sub-
domains. It applies to both cstrike and css.
Starting the servers manually causes no such problems.
Edit: Yet another update: It now turns out that
manually starting the servers causes the same
problems as letting GC handle them. Interestingly,
I am unable to use the console on the manually
started server (no feedback on any keypresses,
except ctrl-c on which it exits). |

Ensure your servers are up to date.
It may have been due to the wide spread power outage in Steam which caused some issues. |

It does appear, according to the gsp-admins list,
that this was a problem related to Linux-servers
over the last day or so. Our servers seem to be
online now. |

everything seems ot be working fine for me.
i thought it could of been due to the update from css thathappened on the same day (i think the same day) as my css client updated.i thought maybe something abuot the server was updated and gamecreate had to be modified to fit the new update or something along those lines.
I guess it was probably the power outage |
