Hi !
I think we've lost our rcon interface.
Normally the rcon server should listen on serverport+5 (16567 + 5 = 16572), but there's nothing at all at that port...
=> ns37872:~# netstat -anp|grep bf2
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:16579 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 31746/bf2
udp 0 0 91.121.8.56:16567 0.0.0.0:* 31746/bf2
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:16587 0.0.0.0:* 31746/bf2
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:29900 0.0.0.0:* 31746/bf2
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:16589 0.0.0.0:* 31746/bf2
can you debug please ?
Thanks. |

What have you done recently?
You may need to update your version of punkbuster/bf2cc? |

Sounds like the port is not bound correctly?
Maybe you need to bind the rcon port to your host's IP directly.
Check into modmanager.con and find the IP line for the rcon module. Replace 0.0.0.0 with %server:ip% and restart the server and see how you go? |

tried that but same problem.
sounds like the problem is related with the server change.
the logs stop exactly at the change date, any idea ? |

Perhaps you need to install something to have the bf2cc software working?
Try checking the modmanager.log file if its around and look for any problems.
You should try posting on the bf2cc.com forums as they actually made the software not us |

why are you talking about bf2cc ???
I'm using gamecreate, not bf2cc...
and I have nothing in the log since the server change
EDIT : I've reinstalled modmanager script (they are the same version than before) and now it's working...
strange
thanks anyway |

Im talking about BF2CC because the ModManager/BF2CC script which comes with our BF2 install is the code responsible for running the RCON Port. |
