|
|
Hi Gamecreate,
First Thanks for a great panel. At the moment we have it installing some games on our servers. Problem is that we are a little out of the way of your content server. I saw with some searching that there is a way to have a local content server running. That would be great for us due to the fact that we are in the Netherlands and have some clans jumping up and down waiting for their gameserver to come online. Can you give me some info on this matter?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Coyote,
I can send you the appropriate files to setup your own local content server.
A local content server is just a webserver that serves the game content instead of using ours. This also allows you to have control over what content is installed on your hosts (eg, map packs) and you will need to maintain game updates for those which you have as local content.
It's only really useful for more than one host (otherwise just install it yourself manually on the host).
I've sent you an email with a getting started guide. |
