GameCreate is now up and running with multiple host interface support.

This means if your host has more than one IP Address for your hosts, you can let GameCreate know about it and you will be able to easily place servers on a particular IP Address.

To add one or more interfaces, simply visit the Host Configuration area and add your additional interfaces to that host.

The Primary Interface is used by default when creating servers and is used in temporary server bookings.

When more than one interface has been added, you can visit the Edit Server page and you will see an additional drop down box under the 'Host' selection to choose an interface to place the server on.

When an interface is chosen:
* Port numbers are now relative to interfaces. For example, you can have two servers on the same port number on a host, but different interfaces.

* The server:ip property of the Server will reflect the chosen interface. This is how you ensure your server runs on the required interface. Be sure your Game Configuration files appropriately bind to the correct interface by
specifying the %server:ip% variable as the IP Address to bind to.

* Server querying now respects your chosen interface. You don't need to uncheck 'Query servers for failures and player information' box on the Host Configuration tab anymore.

Seems like it still isnt working correctly.

In Americas army, I tried installing a second server with a diffrent Ip and same port. But, the ini file and the log file are only using the port number.
And since they are the same one server keeps restating.

Am I missing something. Shouldnt files related to there rspective servers.
Have more then just the port to distinguish them.

For example. Shouldnt the following files have the ip variable as part of there name.

System/pb.%server:port%/pb/pbpower.dat
System/pb.%server:port%/pb/pbsvuser.cfg
System/pb.%server:port%/pb/pbrcon.dat
System/pb.%server:port%/pb/pbsv.cfg
System/pb.%server:port%/pb/pbsvgame.cfg
System/port%server:port%.ini

Shouldnt they be something like:

System/pb.%server:ip%-%server:port%/pb/pbpower.dat

Otherwise, this is a fantastic product.

Yeah thats true, didn't come up during my testing Smile

In the meantime, just do that %server:ip%-%server:port% thing yourself.

And you (may) need to make the appropriate setting changes in the files to have the game bind to %server:ip%, which will represent the IP chosen for that server.

Let me know how you go.
