Hello. Ive decided I want to host a 2142 server on my windows server. However, I checked the box for the server to be ranked, yet it shows up to be unranked in the battlefield 2142 client. Is there anything special I need to do in order for my server to be ranked? I would appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi,

You need to actually have the ranked dedicated server and permission from EA to run a ranked server. Ticking the box will do nothing if you do not have the official ranked server files.

alright, thanks. I posted around the EA forums on how I could obtian these files, but nobody seems to be answering me. Do you know how I could get them? Maybe you will have a quicker responce than all these EA guys.

You actually need to be an EA Partner, its not a trivial process.
