Its great but it would be nice to have a simple function that when enabled will trigger a hard reboot on the machine itself using the root credentials.
Is this possible to incorporate into the control panel and ofcourse be limited only to Systems administrator permission rules. |

Please don't! I would truly hate to see GC hacked
with the result that our hosts keep rebooting! If
GC is hacked now, all the intruders can do is limited
to the user under which games are run. |

We did originally support this feature (GC v4) but it has been removed.
Rebooting of physical servers comes under the management of the physical server itself, not the game servers. |

Another thing to consider is rebooting will usually require the program to have administrator/superuser privilege. Like Kybber says, software exploits - not just of GameCreate, but of each game server - is something we should all at least be aware of. This is why we recommend running the GameCreate client (and hence, all the game servers) as a user with limited permissions. |
