|
|
I am trying to install Call Of Duty 2 on one of my hosts. It always is failing. Is there more ports i need to foward because this host is behind a router, or is call of duty 2 i need to install through the game cd's? |

Run the installation wizard again via GameCreate, on the final steps choose 'Do not download content' (under Advanced Options before clicking the Confirm button).
Then place the files in \callofduty2 |

Try deleting the server and creating it again.
Just remove the Host itself (Hosts Page->Remove a host).
You may need to rename the cod2 server exe also to CoD2MP_launch.exe |

Hi,
Please don't post bumps three hours apart demanding a response.
It was the weekend when you posted, myself and others try not to work then because we do it every other day of the week. I do check out this forum on the weekend usually.
The pidfile issue is because GC expects a pidfile to be created, which is made with our custom built cod2 launch script: http://144.140.155.2:3579/win32/callofduty2/CoD2MP_launch.exe
Download that (and rename your real CoD2 executable to cod2mp.exe I believe it is) and that problem should be fixed. |
