Hi All,

Before knowing the gamecreate front end I had 2 of our servers already installed on our linux server, they are working fine.
Now I have configured for test a first server by means and under control of gamecreate, it's working fine as well.

The best would be for me to get my two existing one under gamecreate mgmt

So the question is: how should I proceed without having to reinstall all from the net and steam ? (I took a while for the first one)

I can cp file trees at the right location and full access root, ftp, etc etc... but I have noticed that certain file structures are "differents" and are having variables.....

Is it thus possible without too much "assle"

thks in advance for your lights

Simply copy your game install into (for example, if this game was Call of Duty) /home/gamecreate/games/callofduty

Look at your other server to see what directory name GameCreate has used for the game you are trying to setup.

In GameCreate, proceed to click on 'Install this game on a host' and then on the final step before clicking 'Confirm' to begin the installation, click on 'Advanced Options' (just near the Confirm link) and tick 'Do not download, the game software is already physically installed in the required location'.

This will make the game appear installed in GameCreate without downloading any content.

The file structure may be a bit different because GameCreate is geared towards running multiple servers with different configurations outside of a single game install - unlike many single servers that have one install for one server.

The configuration files in use however should be similar to your existing ones (and you can always add new files as needed) so just poke around.
