Hi,

I have got the license for CoD4 and I want to install CoD4 Servers. In which folder must I copy the CoD4-Files and what other must Iam doing to use CoD4 with GameCreate?

I read the Manual, but I find no Information about installing Files and use it for GameCreate

I copy the file into the callofduty4-folder but i cannot start the server.
The Comandlines shows:

What happens if you start the process manually via the same command line? Watch the window - apparently its starting, but crashing shortly after.

The File cannot be found, must I have an special pidfile or whatever?

Check that the executable its trying to start exists in the path its trying to start it from.

The iw3mp.exe and the other files and folders are in \callofduty4

Then I'm not sure why you get that error.

Perhaps you need dependencies (Eg, the latest MS Visual C++ Runtime files) installed.

Maat ... i dont know your error, perhaps dont have d3dx9_34.dll ?

I have cod4 server up and running on my remote box.
Yesterday the join password dont work, but today, after the GC update of the config file, everything runs ok !!!
Nice job from gamecreate !!!

I dont have the d3dx9_34.dll on my server. Must I have that file?

I don't know the dependencies for the game off hand, you should contact the game publisher for more information.

Maat,
yes you must have this file inside windows/system32.
If you try to start a dedicated server manually without this dll, it dont start.

I have a W2003 and need to download this dll to start the cod server.
