Hi there,

I am completely new to the gameserver community and I apologise for my ignorance in advance

I am looking at setting up a number of game servers, possibly FEAR and JKA.


I was needing a little guidance first though. I want to set up a linux box and use it to run the game servers - is it possible to do this and use game create?

I have not gone about building my linux box yet and was wondering if i could test out the servers on gamecreate using my laptop (with windows XP) or whether as this is a non server edition it would not work for hosting games?

For the JKA server I'd want to run Clan mod - is it possible for me to use this with gamecreate?

Those are probably good questions for me to start with, though I'll probably have more when you answer them
