hi, i recently installed the css on my host, and then attempted to update..

unfortunatly i accidently yanked the network cable out of the server, and the update failed.. now im getting spammed with "Trying to start" in the failure reports section..

is there a way i can manually retry to update the game? ive looked everywhere!

First stop the server that is in the Trying to start loop.

Then go to the Games section of your domain http://yourdomain.xx.gamecreate.com/admin/BrowseByGame.aspx
You should find options to install, reinstall and remove an installed game.

If you select reinstall a game, then select Counter Strike: Source, choose the host you want to reinstall it on and have a look at the advanced options.

Select which type of reinstall best suits your needs and confirm. GameCreate should update your server and get you going again.

also, i had to kill the gamecreate proccess on my centos box, and run the client again for the website to see it as online, strange.. possibly a bug?

hmm, it gets to 55%, jumps to 98% and says failed, meanwhile the 'network kbps' doesnt go past 0kbps

Have you tried a complete uninstall and then install of the game?

tried too, but it wont download anything, network stays at 0kbps..

take around a day to download anyway from austraila..

perhaps ill come back when you got a european server and thing work properly!

There are no plans at this stage for a European content mirror.

You'd be better off doing a manual install right now. You could also set up your own content server. Check out the downloads section for Content Server Support Files.

If you're on Windows, you will need to make sure you have performance counter access for the user account you are running.
