Hi,

i have installed my first Linux Server (dist. Ubuntu 8.04) and gamecreate don't connect to master server...

i use the same login data on my windows servers, and these run without problems... o_O

how can i solve this problem ?

See if using the 5.2.3 Linux client works better. I use it for our EU domain:

Are there any firewalls or anything else that's special about that particular host?

problem solved...

the server cannot resolve the ip from eu1.master.gamecreate.com.
i have include directly the ip to the gamecreate.ini

but, who can i download the version 5.2.4 (linux) ?
this link won't work...

The newer internal version of the linux client has been pulled for the time being.

We hope to have it available on the normal downloads page in the next few weeks.
