Hi,

Firstly i have just started using GC today, an i'd like to say its F'in awesome!

Much Cudos to the creators!! Job well done!

my question is this...

with games that u cannot distribute, such as Call of Duty, do you have a difinitive list of game directories, ie where gamecreate would look for the game on the server?

i know COD5:WAW is c:\gamecreate\codwaw

but could i have a list for all the games?

if not more specifically all of the COD series'

Thanks

Paul

Have a look in http://yoursubdomain.cc.gamecreate.com/admin/DomainPackages.aspx

to see a list of packages. The unique name should be the install directory.

ok http://d2s.eu.gamecreate.com/admin/DomainPackages.aspx

works, but doesn't show what i need.

i need to know what the directory structure within the game create folder is for games u have to manually install

ie. c:\game create\cod4 is actually c:\gamecreate\callofduty4

do u have a list of the default directories that gamecreate uses for all the games?

Look at the column called "Unique name" on that page, as Steve said.
For Call of Duty 4 it says "callofduty4", which is the name of the relative
directory in the Gamecreate folder, e.g. C:\Gamecreate\callofduty4.

The mapping from unique name to directory structure is, however, not 1-1.
Some games which depend on other master-packages, such as Counter-
Strike:Source (cssource) which depends on Half-Life 2 (source), should have
a directory within the master-package. In CSS's case it is C:\GameCreate\source\cstrike,
which you can't find from the DomainPackages page unless you just try to
install CSS into C:\GameCreate\source, in which case hldsupdatetool will
create the cstrike directory without your interaction.
