i've checked my GC interface 5 minutes ago.... guess what... it was OFFLINE...
my host was ONLINE all the time when everyone else had problems with the eu master... i have no idea why... but i had NO problems to connect and to keep the connection up&running in this time...
but now when everyone is talking about improvement my host goes OFFLINE?
While we corrected the main cause of the disconnects, we still intentionally disconnect you from the master server on some occasions (such as due to a ping timeout).
Another reason is that you have two or more GameCreate Client's logging in as the same host.
When a second client attempts to login as a currently logged in host, the previous session is disconnected.
You can see this behaviour occurring if you notice a client connects and remains connected for a few seconds, and then becomes disconnected (as the other client copy has just logged in).
If your host is listed above, you have two or more clients attempting to login to the same host, make sure only one copy of the client software is running.

Yep, it has happened to me a couple of times that I RDP without adding the
/admin option to the mstsc command line. What happens then is that the
second client, which is automatically started when I log on properly, starts
to get ssh-errors, disconnects, then tries to reconnect again. The host does
stay connected, though, via the other client, so it isn't an easy to spot error
since I can't see it as offline in the webinterface.
In any case: Happy New year to everyone, especially the devs that made EU GC
stable a few weeks back! We haven't had a single problem since then
*starts knocking frantically on all pieces of wooden furniture around*
As discussed immediately above: Make sure you don't have two GC clients
running (use task-manager and check "show processes from all users to
be 100% sure).
If you only have one client running, kill it and restart.
If that doesn't work, kill the client. Then wait a few minutes and restart.
If even that doesn't work, wait until tomorrow and restart.
Edit: Is this Linux or Windows, btw?

I have noticed that Linux is a bit more prone to getting that error. The client
is a bit older than the Windows version, so that may be the reason. This error
doesn't normally last very long like the pong-problem did. If it hasn't been
cleared already, then I'd expect it to be gone by tomorrow. Restarts often,
but not always, help.
We do have an updated Linux client that I want to get shipped, but there are some issues on our end in getting this out the door - I will try and get this released sometime within the next 1-2 weeks if possible.
This should help against this error I believe, but not 100% sure.

When can this new linux version be out? I believe that this has being said a few times already over the past couple of months and each is another 2-weeks. Will be another 2-weeks from now or from the last one week?
If you are still monitoring our servers for disconnects, then please be advised
that they have been down due to local network problems for the last three
hours or so. This was not a GC problem - GC has been pretty much rock solid
for a couple of months now (with FTP being an exception)
At least with the Linux client, a few logons in a row will make the client disconnect,
and the log shows SSH-errors. This is quite reproducable. I don't normally use
the FTP service myself, but some of our admins have also said that the FTP
service is a bit unreliable (this is for Windows hosts). I can gather more info
on this if you are interested.
