Hello
Im new here and as almost the most Users in this ForumI have a Question.

At first I want to say that the Webinterface is one of the best I've seen.

But I have a Problem with Mani admin on CSS Server.
The Ranks are after every restart of the Server deleted. So Ive looked for a method to save the ranks to disk and found the right commands. But now it is the Problem that the Rank file is written to the standard foders and so Mani cant read them?

Why are the standard Mani folder not used in the webinterface? this would be a big Facilitating.

Or does Anyone have another Idea?

kindly regards
s1lence

As this is really a Mani issue, I would suggest asking at the Mani webpage. You
are more likely to get a solution there. Perhaps you can change the dir Mani
uses or use the filename and location as argument to the command you issue
to save the ranks?

The standard Mani folder isn't used by GC because you are supposed to run
several servers from one installation. Each server needs its own config dir to
facilitate differing settings among the servers running on one host. If you only
have one server and find no other way to tell Mani where to save the file, simply
change the +mani_path argument on the command line to point to the regular
dir and modify all file paths under files to also use that dir.

Or use a more flexible admin system such as sourcemod, and a real stats-
system such as hlstatsx community edition.

As Kybber mentioned, the best bet is to utilise mani_path which should already be present by default in GameCreate.

GameCreate is also set up to not delete or overwrite the stats files by default when using mani_path
