Hello again,
Thanks for the support before, it really helped me out. However, now I found something else that seems a bit weird. I noticed when a standard user logs in they can see like the dod folder and the hlds install files. I dont want them to be able to see these files, I only want them to be able to see (for an example, happens on all games) the files inside the cstrike folder, so when they login to the FTP they automatically get their server files. Is it possible to do this without a subdomain for their server ip?
At this time FTP access to a 'Counter-Strike' or 'Day of Defeat' server for example both share the current 'hlserver' folder.
Therefore, they would both have access to the hlserver install.
If you are doing this in a rental environment, I would recommend just creating a subdomain for each rental customer.
This will allow them to have their own copy of the game - where they can mess around with it (Add mods, maps, change files) without impacting any other customer's install.
