Left4Dead is currently not using the +exec configfile.cfg it seems
I already found a work around simply by making a server.cfg, but this doesn't work very well for multiple servers. Pretty sure it's Valves fault.
Let me know if yall know anything.

What problems are you experiencing?

The server should be reading its config fine. Have you changed your command line?

I have been having the same problem since the last patch.

My server all show up as L4D-Co-op Normal and my rcon password wont work.

In the console the server says unknown command port

This has been fixed now.

It was being caused by the +exec banned_user.cfg part of the command line.

by default, do all the servers have +exec banned.cfg removed?

Yes the exec banned_user.cfg has been removed from the command line, so defaulting it will take it out if you still have it there.

Any new servers won't have it there by default.
