I'm trying to start a CoD2 server under Windows 7 with GameCreate.

But the .exe is different. GC looks for a "CoD2MP_launch.exe" and in my folder is a "CoD2MP_s.exe".

When I rename it to "CoD2MP_launch.exe" the server starts. But I don't know if this is the correct way. Can't you change GC to look for a "CoD2MP_s.exe" instead of the other one? That would fix it, I guess.

This is another game we created a 'wrapper' script for, which we have not released.

The wrapper script simply clicked 'OK' to a stupid popup that appeared ever now and then (Safe Mode warning).

Just rename the serve exe as you have done.
