Hi there

I have installed BFBC2 but when trying to start it up i get error code 2

Any ideas what could cause this?

Hi,

Correct you need the BC2 game files already; I don't believe they get released by EA.

Is it possible to host a dedicated server on your own if you just have the standard BFBC2 files?

Command Line: Frost.Game.Main_Win32_Final.exe
In the standard BFBC2 game directory there isn't any .exe file called like this... Which .exe file should be renamed to this?

I don't think that this will work because there are still files needed to host a game.

Normally it's possible to host a game with the normal files too.

Server files is nothing more then only the important files to host a gameserver instead of all game files.

Are there no dedicated servers for the normal users?

Some games like BC2 require you to have all of the gear needed to run the server; we don't provide the files obviously.

If you can't get the software yourself GameCreate won't provide it.

Thre are dedicated server, but you can only buy them, the only hosters out there are game server sellers trusted by EA and DICE
