Again the TF2 (Team Fortress 2) update can't finish and stops at 93%. This has been so since a week. Can you fix this please.

You should look at GameCreate's log file (gamecreate.log), any update failures would be printed there, perhaps it can't download a file for some reason.

That log file doesnt exist.

If you edit gamecreate.ini and add/replace the line:

log-file gamecreate.log

And restart the client, it will log to disk.

I just logged the install part and the update failes at 94% again.

Anyway I delete the D:\Servers\orange-box/orangebox/srcds.exe file and tried to update after that again and then the update worked fine and didn't fail.

But where does this error appear exactly? It looks like gamecreate can't delete the old .exe file to finish the update.

Error code 13 is 'permission denied'.

Does the user gamecreate client runs as, have permission to read/write/access that file (or parent folder)?
