|
|
Hi all,
I just tested external auth with my domain and it worked. But, I was using a test server to host the external auth files. I decided to move back to internal auth for a while, and the switch back process seemed smooth... but when I went back to login to the domain, it said my account didn't have access! And my account was the domain creator/master account!
I don't know what went wrong, but please, help me someone, this panel is an important part of my business and I have game hosts currently reliant on this panel! |

It's still giving me the "You do not have permission to log in to this domain" error... and I tried logging in with the master domain account (the one I used to register the domain).
Please help me, anyone? |

I've responded to your email
This is an unfortunate bug with GC which currently we need to fix for you if you try switching back to GC authentication. |

Understood. Thank you for your help
One question, though, with External auth, how should I configure the "Name" row in the database? I *have* created it, and I *have* populated it with names such as "User Name" (without quotes)... but in GameCreate, it shows up blank. When I use the 'username' row in auth.php instead of the 'name' row, the names show up fine.
I'm hoping I can use separate names for my users instead of their GameCreaate usernames |

I went to try to login to my domain again (the first one, which I got locked out of)
I'm still locked out. I thought the permissions were fixed? |

I've sent an e-mail but will post here too, in case this is checked first.
I've decided it would be best if my gamecreate domain were just deleted completely so that I could re-register it. That would probably be best.
Thanks in advance |

If my domain can't be deleted, can you at least remove the host "gshost01" from my domain? I need it unregistered/deleted (but can't access the panel) so I can use it in another domain.
If you could do that for me, it would be great. |

We don't delete any domains. We only let them naturally expire through inactivity.
If you want to delete a host from your domain, you can add /admin/DeleteHost.aspx to the domain's url and it will give you a list of hosts you can delete. |
