Does the host allow FTP transfers? Does the user have game, server and/or host permissions? (Not certain the latter is required, but doesn't hurt to try)
No, not at all. GC includes an FTP server which runs on port 2222. But you need to make sure that FTP is allowed on that host.
First thing I'd do is to try to FTP with your system account. If that works, you can start looking at permissions for the user in question. If it doesn't work, then there are other issues with either enabling FTP or firewalls or other stuff.
The user can connect but can not do anything with the files (download, upload or delete).
I also tested with my system account and same things happens there.
I'm afraid I'm a bit stumped on this.I don't have much experience with using GC's FTP service, so I can't assist you much further. What you may want to try is removing the permissions and restrictions from GC's FTP server (all of them) and make it so that everything is allowed. If it now works to use your system account, try the other account. If that also now works, try adding the FTP restrictions one by one until it breaks. Then go from there.
If you want the truth I also have had problems with the GC FTp service. The way I would personally do it is by a program like FireZilla as you know it works that way. Have you tried giving the user full access to the server?
